A shell shaped by hand, not found on a shore.

Each earring begins as polymer clay, sculpted into the soft ribbed curve of a shell, then covered — bead by bead — in fine ivory-white seed beads until the whole surface catches the light like sand in low sun. Beneath sits a cluster of natural freshwater pearls, falling away into a single delicate strand: the shape of water leaving the shore.

They are the kind of detail that makes people lean in.

Made for the bride who doesn't want a crown

Not every wedding needs a tiara, and not every look needs flowers in the hair. Sometimes the whole story sits in the ears — one considered pair, and the rest of the look can stay effortlessly simple.

These are designed for coastal weddings, warm-weather celebrations and quiet, modern ceremonies. They sit beautifully with a slicked-back bun, a low chignon, or hair worn loose and undone. Just as at home with a slip dress on the sand as with structured silk in a candlelit hall.

Details

- Hand-sculpted polymer clay shell, entirely hand-beaded in ivory-white seed beads
- Natural freshwater pearls, chosen individually and set by hand
- Silver stud fittings

Because they are natural, each pair is a little different

Freshwater pearls are grown, not manufactured. Their shapes, sizes and warm undertones vary slightly from pearl to pearl — this is precisely what stops them looking mass-produced. Your pair will match the photographs closely, but never identically, and that is the point.

Colour and bespoke requests

The ivory-white shown is our most requested shade, and it sits comfortably alongside both ivory and off-white gowns. If your dress leans towards true white or champagne, send me a photograph in daylight and I'll match the beadwork to it. Clip-on fittings, a shorter pearl drop, or a matching set for your bridal party can all be made to order — just message me before you place your order.

Timing

Each pair is made to order and takes 3–5 working days to complete, plus delivery. UK delivery is free with Royal Mail 2nd Class (2–3 working days). International and express options are available at checkout — if your date is close, message me first and I'll confirm we can reach you in time.

Long after the day, they'll still be a pair of earrings you reach for.

Key Features

- Hand-sculpted and hand-beaded shell — no moulds, no two identical

Styling Suggestions

Wear with hair swept back or fully up so the pearl drop has room to move — a low chignon, a slicked bun, or a soft French twist all work beautifully. With loose hair, tuck one side behind the ear so a single earring becomes the focus. Best paired with a bare neckline; if your gown is heavily embellished, let these be the only jewellery you wear. For a coastal wedding, keep the rest simple: bare shoulders, soft waves, no necklace.

Care instructions

Store in the box provided, away from direct sunlight and damp. Fasten your earrings after hairspray and perfume, and remove them before swimming or sleeping. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth — never soak, and never use jewellery dips or alcohol-based cleaners, as these can dull the pearls' natural lustre. Handled with a little care, they will outlast the day by decades.
