Metal finish

A full bloom at the ear: ivory petals, a scatter of pearls, and enough presence to carry a simple neckline on their own.

Each earring is built flower by flower. The rose petals are shaped by hand from soft, light clay; the hydrangea heads are formed from foam, which is why a bloom this size still weighs almost nothing. Pearls and smaller flowers are set in between, so the cluster reads as a real posy rather than a flat motif.

The ivory tone was chosen to sit against both light and dark hair without disappearing into one or clashing with the other. At 5 cm across, they are a deliberate statement — this is the piece you wear when the dress is quiet and the jewellery is doing the talking.

Choose your metal finish and we build the pair to match. Nothing is pulled off a shelf; your earrings are assembled after you order.

The details

  • Pair of earrings
  • Base diameter: 5 cm (1.97")
  • Choice of metal finish: silver, rose gold
  • Rose petals hand-shaped from polymer clay
  • Hydrangea heads formed from foam
  • Set with pearls and smaller flowers
  • Light ivory tone, suited to both light and dark hair
  • Lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear
  • Handmade in the UK, made to order in 3 working days

A pair that won't wilt, and won't be left in the box after the day.

Wear them with the rest

The same ivory hydrangea and pearls run through two other pieces. The headband and earring set arrives already matched, so nothing has to be decided on the morning. The 9 cm hair comb is for brides who would rather keep the flowers in the hair than across the crown — it sits inside an updo and leaves the earrings to carry the front of the look.

Key Features
  • A full bloom that weighs almost nothing — the hydrangea heads are formed from foam, so a 5 cm statement earring stays light enough to wear from the first photograph to the last dance.
  • Yours, down to the metal — choose your finish and the pair is built to match the rings and chain you already wear.
  • Made after you order — nothing pre-boxed; your pair is assembled when the order comes in.
  • Built flower by flower — petals shaped individually by hand, so no two pairs are quite identical.
  • Ivory that works on any hair colour — chosen to read clearly against both blonde and dark hair rather than vanishing into one.
  • Scaled to be seen — at 5 cm they hold their own in photographs, where smaller earrings disappear.
  • Pearls where they count — set between the blooms rather than hung beneath them, so the cluster stays a posy, not a drop.
  • Won't wilt — the same in year five as on the morning it arrives.
  • Beyond the wedding — a pair that works with occasionwear, editorial and a plain black dress.
  • Handmade in the UK — made in a studio, by hand, not assembled from a catalogue.
Styling Suggestions

With hair up
A low chignon or French twist leaves the full 5 cm visible. This is the styling these were designed around.

With a plain neckline
Let them be the only jewellery above the collarbone. A bare neck or a simple boat neck gives the bloom the space it needs — a necklace at the same time will crowd it.

With loose hair
Tuck one side behind the ear and leave the other loose. The asymmetry keeps a large earring from looking symmetrical and heavy.

With a veil
Soft, fine tulle only, and worn behind the ears rather than over them. A structured or beaded edge will catch on the petals.

Matching into your hair
If you're wearing one of our ivory hairpieces, these earrings carry the same palette without repeating the same flower — connected, not matched.

For your bridal party
Choose one finish across the group so everyone reads as a set in photographs, even where the hairstyles differ. Message us before ordering if you need several pairs and we'll plan the timings together.

Doing a hair trial? Send us a photo and we'll tell you whether these or a smaller pair will sit better with your hairstyle.

Care instructions

These blooms won't wilt, and a little care keeps the ivory exactly as it arrived.

  • Put the earrings in last, after hair and make-up — hairspray and perfume before, never after.
  • Hold them by the metal base rather than the petals when putting them on.
  • Keep them away from fire, heat and hot styling tools.
  • Keep them dry: take them off before swimming, and shelter them from heavy rain.
  • Don't press on the fine petals or on the pearls when handling them.
  • Store the pair in their own box, away from heavier jewellery.
